De-Stress Tea Blend
Before the day’s stresses take their toll, unwind with this nerve de-tangling tea designed for “right when you get home.” Each herb is carefully selected to either soothe anxiety, untie stomach knots, support immunity, or halt burnout— all while tasting phenomenally exceptional, exquisite, and divine.
Net Weight: 2.3 oz (65g)
White Tea – Compared to green and black tea (which come from the same plant as white tea, Camellia sinensis), this herbal leaf’s flavors are delicate, floral, and (literally) fit for a queen. White tea was in fact reserved for royalty throughout antiquity due to its exquisitely mild taste. White tea also contains less caffeine than other teas— just enough to give a gentle lift, appropriate for any time of day (and that won’t keep you up). Despite less caffeine, it’s rich in compounds theanine and GABA, both shown to help relieve stress.
Rose Hips – Floral flavors, meet “citrusy” and “juicy”. Though rose hips come from roses— veritable blossoms of romance— the “berries” from these thorny plants taste much like orange and rose combined. Sour and sumptuous, rose hips contain more vitamin C than any citrus, even the oranges they resemble in flavor. This high vitamin C content is brought into our De-Stress tea to keep your immunity in tip-top shape— even after the most stressful work week.
Orange Peel – A divine pairing with tangy rose hips, zesty orange peel elevates your tea experience to new and “citrusy” heights. Though savoring a delicious orange is a treat of itself, studies show even a whiff of orange’s aromatic oils helps lower stress and relieves anxiety. Not to mention: orange peel is one of the greatest sources of vitamin C, helping your body fight bugs, colds, and flus no matter how stressed or overworked you might be.
Peppermint – This botanical adds fresh, cool, and soothing dimensions to De-Stress. Equal parts calming and spunky, peppermint infuses our formula with both de-stressing and digestive properties— plus tons of invigorating flavor. Research shows it tempers anxiety in animal studies while easing digestive discomfort—related or unrelated to stress—in others. Nervous for job interviews, meetings, or that upcoming presentation? Butterflies in your stomach? A sip of peppermint will put you at peace. Bye bye, overwhelm!
Cinnamon – Cooling peppermint, bright citrus, floral notes, and—spicy cinnamon? Trust us: it works. Cinnamon isn’t just an expert flavor-enhancer that ties all these ingredients together. It’s also supportive of digestive health, according to both modern science and traditional use. Besides keeping you on the level and helping you decompress, De-Stress— with help from cinnamon— may allay those stress-caused tummy troubles and complaints.
Licorice Root – Besides taming the occasional cold or flu, licorice root may smooth over mild anxiety from a stressful day. Few people realize it has this soothing potential, which studies show improves sleep quality, too. Licorice appears to do all this because of how it affects GABA receptors— parts of the brain that govern calm moods and deep slumber. With subtly sweet flavor and immune boosting as bonuses, we couldn’t think of a more delightful herb to keep you healthy, happy, and sane—and as far from run down as possible.
Rose Petals – It’s the perfect complement to white tea’s floral-herbal profile. A pinch of rose petals also accents the rosehips while imparting an amazing perfume fragrance while you brew, too.
Cornflower – Alongside rose petals, cornflower petals—in bright blue and indigo hues—are included to add color, beauty, and floral taste to De-Stress.
Calm down, reset, and live to fight another day. Bring fresh cold water to a boil. Pour over 1-2 teaspoons of tea leaves for every 8 ounces of water. Steep 3-4 minutes and enjoy while still piping hot, but sip-able (or drinkable).
